A barn, a stable, a field and a farmhouse — the theme where a good part of the floor plan is outdoors.
The farmhouse kitchen, a barn, stables, a milking parlour, a tool shed, a silo, and open ground between them. Farms are the clearest example of a plan that is half building and half outside, and the cases use it: a suspect in a field is in a very different position from one in the barn.
This is the theme where inside and outside does the most work, so a case that uses it always prints the legend telling you which rooms count as outside — read that before the clues. Large outdoor areas behave like the museum’s galleries: they absorb people without pinning them.
A case picks its floor plan from this theme’s room pool, so the same places recur across the drawer and you learn to read them: Pasture, Yard, Garden, Shed, Farmhouse, Cowshed, Pigsty, Barn, Henhouse, Stable, Greenhouse, Pantry, Dairy, Field, Pond. No single case uses all of them — the generator and the hand-built cases alike take a subset, which is why two cases in the same setting can still feel unalike.
14 cases — 4 easy, 6 medium, 4 hard, on boards from 6×6 to 9×9. Every one is verified to have a single solution reachable by forward deduction alone, so none of them needs a guess.
